Lions Mane Mushroom (Hericium Erinaceus) is a neurogenic fungus that contains several phenolic molecules called Hericinones, terpenoids called Erinacines and novel polysaccharides. The Hericinones and Erinacines are potent stimulators of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF).
